Worldwide Cane Corsos are specifically bred to be Intelligent and playful dogs with a balanced and kind nature. They are exceptional guard-dogs with a unique natural ability of being docile and affectionate with its family, friends even strange company. WW Cane Corsos are lovers of children and the family, but, when necessary, they become a brave and fearless defender of their people, home and property.

Our Worldwide Cane Corsos must have exceptional temperaments. We begin to instill this at a very young age. Attention, affection and socialization is a large part of our breeding program. Our Cane Corsos must live in harmony with our other dogs, humans and of course the horses. They must be welcoming of people during our many events hosted at the farm, while maintaining a keen guard instinct when we close the gates.

We have bred our dogs to have very stable temperaments being  sweet and affectionate to people they know and also to those we welcome. The Cane Corso breed represents the best combination of a guard dog and companion possible, extremely loyal to their family and quite aloof with welcome strangers. They have a very protective nature and yet are able to discern friend from foe, instinctively knowing when to become an intimidating, defensive and protective dog for its owner, his grounds, the house and family.

We consider a good tempered dog should be obedient and submissive to his family yet suspicious of strangers.

With a focus on family friendly temperments, our WW Cane Corsos bond quickly to their family and become quite attached - especially to the children. They enjoy being included in the family activities. Their high level of athleticism lends itself to include such activities as bike riding, swimming, long walks, sledding, jogging, and playing fetch. Some of the families have even included their WW Cane Corsos on their boating adventures.

Cane Corsos are social animals and need companionship. It is not a good idea to get a Corso and just throw him in the yard and forget about him.  Even with their larger size they do make excellent house or apartment dogs however keep in mind they require regular exercise.  Cane Corsos can be trained to be anything from very family friendly to a strict protection dog, therefore training and socialization are the KEY steps to ensure your WW Cane Corso's temperament is developed specifically to your families desires.
